Clocktower Mall’s Winter Closure

The West End Development Corporation (WEDCO) would like to announce the winter hours of the Clocktower Mall. Effective January 1st, the Clocktower will be open daily from 11am to 4pm with extended hours on cruise ship days.

In addition to the adjusted hours, WEDCO has announced plans to enhance the Clocktower Mall which will result in a temporary closure scheduled from January 20th to February 23rd. During this period, the mall will undergo minor transformations, which will include the painting of the store grates, creating a more attractive shopping experience.  

Rebecca Martin, Marketing & Events Manager at WEDCO and spokesperson, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming changes, stating “We are thrilled to embark on a project to revitalize the Clocktower Mall this winter. Although the changes are minor, we have plans to continue refreshing and modernizing the space while maintaining its historical integrity and charm.”

WEDCO has announced that after the Mall reopens on February 24th, winter hours will still remain in effect, continuing through the end of March, with some stores offering additional extended hours. Please contact stores directly for more information.

Proposed Bathrooms Project

West End Development Corporation invites interested parties to submit bids for the following tender: Proposed Bathrooms Project at Snorkel Park, #3 Maritime Lane, Sandys.

The tender documents will be available for collection by qualified contractors on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 and submissions are to be received by WEDCO on or before 3:00pm on Friday, March 3, 2023.

WEDCO proposes to be in a position to notify the successful company (if any) on or about or before Friday, March 17, 2023.

WEDCO Office Closure Update

In light of the announcement made last night regarding the “Stay at Home Order” commencing on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, West End Development Corporation offices will remain closed for walk-in clients and services until further notice.

WEDCO remains completely operational as our team is working remotely. Please feel free to contact our team members individually via telephone or email. For convenience, our team’s contact details are available HERE. Alternatively, you may call our main line at 234 1709 or email your general enquiries to info@wedco.bm.

Should you have any maintenance related matters that you wish to report, you may contact our Facilities Department via telephone at 234 1709 ext 540 or email them at maintenance@wedco.bm. If you are reporting an emergency maintenance matter, please call 699 0871 as normal.

Please note that due to current restrictions, only emergency maintenance matters will be addressed, while all other maintenance reports will be logged for addressing at a later date when it is safe to do so.

If you would like to make a payment on your account, please note that payments must be made via online transfer at this time. If you need any assistance or have any questions about your account or how to make an online payment, please call 234 1709 or email accounts@wedco.bm.

Once the “Stay at Home Order” has been lifted, if you visit Dockyard, please remember to practice physical distancing, wear your masks properly (fully covering your mouth and nose), and employ proper respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene.
